Description
Social Stories BIG Bundle | Social Stories
Are you a Special Educator or a General Education teacher with some unique needs in your classroom? This bundle is just the thing to get you started using social stories. Social stories are a great way to teach students with disabilities as well as typical peers about many different things.
Bibliotherapy is the systematic use of books to help individuals understand and solve problems. The goal of using social stories is to provide direct lessons and language to explicitly teach kids the expected behaviors in any given situation using books or stories.
These behavior stories can be used as a whole group to initiate a conversation about expectations and making good choices. You could have students work in small groups to discuss and reflect. They are great for the beginning of the year and to reinforce skills throughout the school year.
This product can be printed out as a hard copy or projected onto the Smart Board for viewing, or can be used in Google Classroom or similar platforms. These social stories are a great resource to use as a whole class read aloud as well as for small group readings and individual use for students with autism or behavioral disorders.
